About

John -  born @ 318 ppm

This is my picture; what is written below is the story behind the picture.

I believe that my purpose in leadership development at this time is to inspire a re-imagination of leadership, so that, the planet, and all its inhabitants can thrive together in a just and sustainable World".

Leadership in all its manifestations is, and will continue to be, a critical part of how the World and its organisations and communities develop and evolve. It can be a key that can unlocks our imagination and connects us to a sustainable in future that inspires us. Re-imagining leadership therefore has never been more important. So, as a Leadership Coach I work with leaders, teams, organisations and communities to create a space in which they can have conversations that support re-imagination.

I am a climate activist. I have chosen not to be a bystander; activism is an important part of how I express my purpose and my leadership. I was born @ 318 ppm; (parts per million) of Co2 in the atmosphere. It's now @ 421 ppm and increasing. We are in a climate and ecological emergency. The World has to act now, collectively and in collaboration if we are to have a just and sustainable future. The time for empty talk and empty promises is long gone. The time for leadership that re-imagines and creates a sustainable future is now. Climate activism is a critical part of how this conversation evolves because it provides diversity of thoughts and proactively challenges perspective blindness and existing mindsets.

I am a Trustee of WYSE International https://www.wyse-ngo.org. WYSE International is a charity that works with a world-wide community of emerging leaders who are inspired to help and support their communities both local and global through their leadership. It is a privilege to support Wyse and I am, constantly inspired by the young leaders and the way in which they offer service through through the expression of their leadership purpose.

I am a Trustee of Bewdley Festival https://bewdleyfestival.org.uk. Bewdley Festival is a multi-arts festival in my town of Bewdley. I am also a Trustee of a Bewdley Community Arts Foundation, which provides funding for arts based projects that support young people, the elderly and the disadvantaged, to access creative engagement activities.

I like being in nature and walking with my dog. For me being in nature is fulfilling physically and also an opportunity for reflection and mindfulness. It helps me to be present and consciousness; it helps me to find different perspectives. And my dog, well he is just in the moment - a good source of inspiration for me!

Music is a source of inspiration for me; listening to music and playing music. I play guitar and I drum in samba bands and I love making and creating music with friends.
